  • Proposed Zoning District changes discussion, focusing on the G-C Zoning District changes along State Route 43. (based off Comprehensive Land Use Plan). Portage County Regional Planning Director Todd Peetz will be present to give comments to the Board.

HOWE ROAD CLOSURE

Portage County Engineer’s office will be closing Howe Road at the Crystal Parkway intersection, and Crystal Parkway for culvert replacements. The closure will begin Monday, December 13, 2021 and be closed for 28 days, the intersection of Howe Road at Crystal Parkway will be closed to all traffic in all directions. Below is a detour map provided by Portage County along with written detour instructions.

The Detour will be Mogadore Road North of Howe to West on SR. 261 (Northeast Ave.) to East on Howe Road. Crystal Parkway will be closed and all traffic to and from Crystal Parkway will need to access from Mogadore via Portage Blvd.
