Brimfield Town Hall, Fiscal office, Zoning Department, and Parks and Recreation Department will be closed on Monday, February 17th in observance of Presidents’ Day. Offices will reopen on Tuesday, February 18th at 7:00 am.
Children accompanied by an adult will join Parks and Recreation Director Cassie Weyer for stories and activities to celebrate Groundhog’s Day followed by an optional short hike (weather permitting).
Recommended for children ages 3 to 6. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear appropriate outdoor clothing and shoes if hiking.
This is a free program open to residents and non-residents of Brimfield Township. Donations accepted.

Carla Russell of Rooted in Love Paintings will instruct participants to create their own unique Valentine’s Day – inspired painting to take home. Tickets are $30.00 per person and include costs of instruction and all materials. Tickets can be purchased at the Town Hall during office hours (cash only, please). Valentine’s Paint Night will be held at the Brimfield Community Center 4538 Edson Road, Kent, OH 44240.

Are you an amateur ornithologist or a total bird nerd? Join Park Director Cassie Weyer at the Brimfield Community Center on Sunday, January 19th to learn how to identify common Ohio backyard birds and tips to attract them to your feeders!
Drop by anytime between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM for a short presentation, make-and-take bird feeder craft and an Ohio Division of Wildlife field guide booklet while supplies last.
This program is recommended for ages 3 and up. All minors must be accompanied by an adult.
